How to Adjust the Diopter

Since the introduction of the original X1D, Hasselblad has graced us with perhaps the beautiful and intuitive user interface that exists in the market today. The totality of the camera design is so intuitive, I’ve never looked at the user manual until today when I first started playing with our X2D and couldn’t find the diopter adjustment around the viewfinder.

If you’re looking to adjust the diopter, you need to first dip into the menu system, then into Display and then EVF Diopter:

Once selected, this will appear on screen:

Follow the instructions and adjust with the wheels with the focus pattern on the screen until it’s nice and tight:
