How To Stay In Self Timer Mode Shot to Shot
If you’ve set the Self Timer Mode for the X1D-II only to be frustrated because it continuous to revert to the Single Shot Drive Mode after the shot, you can change this default behavior. Out of the box by default, the self timer mode is set to exit once the shot is complete. This is what places it back in Single Shot Drive Mode. Below I have included steps for using a command named “Stay” to change this setting.
Step 1 : Tap the Drive Mode icon from the X1D-II Controls Main Screen.
Step 2 : In drive mode, change your setting from the default of “Single” to “Self Timer“.
Step 3 : Select “When Finished“.
Step 4 : To keep the Drive Mode on Self Timer shot to shot, change the “Exit” setting to “Stay“.
If at any point you want the camera to revert back to Single Drive Mode after the capture, you can change this setting back from Stay to Exit.
