Photographing FGL was a really great experience! Their entire team is open to the creative process and the guys are very willing to participate and collaborate. This photoshoot was for their soon to be released album, “Can’t Say I Ain’t Country,” which will be used for their press release, merchandise and tour promotion.

With a band as popular as FGL… (they are the highest selling country band  for two years running) the images will go everywhere! Because of the exposure and publicity that will follow the release of these images,  I knew it would be in everyone’s best interest to shoot Phase One.

The IQ150 worked flawlessly that day, I rotated between the 80mm & 55mm, the definition and dynamic range we were able to capture on each of our sets we build was enough of a reason to know that Phase One was the right choice. As great as these images look on a small album, they’re going to look just as great on billboards, bus wraps and who knows where else! Can’t wait to see!
