Cambo Studio Stands

MBX Stands

The MBX Stand is a Mid-range studio stand that will suit many photographers shooting with medium format camera systems. It is placed between the entry level Monostand and the heavier duty UST/UBS stand series.
The MBX stand combines several advantages of the various Cambo stands, such as a ball bearing movement for effortless vertical adjustment as well as rotation of the crossarm independently of vertical adjustments, derived from the Cambo UBS stand. In addition to
that there is a precise geared lateral positioning of the crossarm.
The MBX counterweight is optimised for a medium format camera with lens and tripod head. Although this can easily be adjusted -using MBX-7 weights- if you choose to add the laptop support tray with computer.
The MBX stand is standard available in two lengths: being 2,1 mtr(7’) and 2,7 mtr(9’) from floor to top. Customised lengths are available on request.

Monostand

The Cambo Monostand is considered the economical studio stand for all studio photographers.
There are three verisions of this stand:
Mono-1
Column for Monostand including geared lateral moving crossarm and movable 3/8 camera mount.
Height 2.1 mtr / 7′ includes height of the base.
Recommended Base: MONO-0 or MBX-0

Mono-2

Column for Monostand including geared lateral moving crossarm and movable 3/8 camera mount.
Height 2.7 mtr / 9′ includes height of the base.
Recommended Base: MBX-0 Heavy Base

USB Stands

The Cambo UBS Stands is considered the top of the range fully ball bearing studio stand.

There are three versions of this stand:

UBS-1
Black Column 10 cm square (4×4″) with sliding/rotating collar. All movements on Ball Bearings.
Separate individuall lockable movements for vertical, lateral and rotational.
Height 2.14 mtr / 7′ includes height of base and top cover

Recommended Base: U-0 or UCB
Recommended Crossarm: UBA
UBS-2

The Cambo UST Stands are considered the sturdy studio stand for every studio.

The UST Stands are available in three versions:

Redwing Lightbooms

The Redwing Boom features a parallelogram design that makes it easy to precisely raise or lower your light source without changing the angle of light in relation to your subject.

 

Added control features:
 
Head extension at the end of the boom offers rotation up to 360 unlimited light angle & directional control.
All angle movements controlled by a convenient handle at the pivot point.
Sliding counterweight system adjusts for different sizes of lights and boxes. Once the balance is set for your light source, there is no need to lock the boom into position – raise or lower the light to the height required and let go. The boom stays put without locking clamping or cranking.

Solo Stand

The Cambo Solo Stand includes T-Shape base with 3 castors and black anodised column with extension tube.
3/8″ camera mount on top of extension tube.

Cambo Monostand Studio Stand

This mid-size studio stand offers many advantages of a tripod, especially when it comes to rigid camera support and maneuverability for Digital and Analogue cameras up through medium format. Available in 7′ and 9′ height columns, our Monostand is made of the same materials as stands selling for twice the price.

Features Include:

      • Counter-balanced sliding collar that provides unrestricted movement up and down and 360° around the column
      • Three swivel casters on a cast-iron base enabling easy repositioning and locking
      • A 5cm diameter geared crossarm with a lateral displacement up to 30 cm (12”) that will support any medium format and lightweight view camera
      • A heavy-duty camera mount that can be positioned anywhere along the 65cm long crossarm. For extra support and control, we recommend a ball head to mount your camera.

The Monostand comes complete with column, crossarm and camera mount with 3⁄8″ thread and a base to choose.
