Why It Matters To Us…

GFX 100 is not only reshaping how images are being made, but it is also redefining large format for the world’s next generation of image makers.

GFX 100 raises the bar in large format auto-focus performance, being one of the first large format systems to have in-body stabilization, and providing filmmakers with a way to push the limits of wide format 4K/30p motion capture.

GFX 50 S offers many of the same features in a 50 MP compact solution.

GFX 50 R is the very first mirrorless, medium format systems in a range finder.

GFX100 II’s new 102MP sensor and X-Processor 5 combination deliver astounding performance when it is needed most. Enhancements to autofocus algorithms, now incorporating internal subject detection propelled by artificial intelligence, allow photographers and filmmakers to accurately track moving subjects and create 102MP images at up to 8fps using the camera’s high-speed mechanical shutter, or to record 4K/60p video at the full width of GFX100 II’s massive 55mm1 imaging sensor.

An updated 9.44M dot EVF with 120fps live view and 5.3fps of blackout-free (8.7fps of blackout-free in 35mm format mode), continuous shutter use, also helps photographers stay close to the action, frame by frame, while internal in-body image stabilization (IBIS) provides up to 8-stops of stability to help transform the way any professional will make their next great image and share their next great story. 1 GFX100 II uses an image sensor measuring 55mm diagonally (43.8mm x 32.9mm), which provides an area approximately 1.7 times that of a 35mm full-frame sensor.

The GFX 50S II  is a unique medium format mirrorless camera that is wonderfully compact and portable. Featuring a 51.4MP CMOS sensor paired with an improved X-Processor 4 image processor, this camera produces files with extremely wide dynamic range and high resolution, as well as having an extended sensitivity range of ISO 50-102400 for working in difficult lighting conditions. The sensor’s large form factor also achieves a unique three-dimensional look with especially smooth tonal and color transitions.

The GFX 50S II has also been updated with a five-axis in-body image stabilization system that negates up to 6.5 stops of camera shake for improved handheld shooting, providing dramatically broad creative possibilities for image makers wanting to work more freely with slower shutter speeds.
