Recap: PhotoPlus Expo 2016
The strongest team in the photographic industry. We were proud to show the Lucie award for best MF Camera, the Phase One IQ3 100mp XF system.
PhotoPlus Expo 2016
Held annually at New York City’s Javits Center, PDN’s Photo Plus Expo proudly shows a “who’s who” of company’s important to the commercial photographic marketplace. This was “the strongest trade show that Capture Integration has ever presented at! We really illustrated our value in the market and how we are continuing to grow, and therefore pushing our competitors to try to “keep up” says CEO Dave Gallagher. “This is a very expensive show to be a part of but it is important to our marketing strategy to continue to say on top in our market segment.” Every year the Capture Integration team meets their valued customers and establishes new professional relationships. And this year proved to build upon past years of success.
2nd Annual Lucie Technical Awards
This year Capture Integration’s ShotFlow One was a finalist for a Lucie Technical Award in the Software Plugin Category! The Lucie Technical Awards honor companies and individuals who have advanced the photographic industry in a given year. These awards are presented by the Lucie Foundation and hosted by PhotoPlus Expo “we were honored to be nominated for a Lucie” says Capture Integration’s Chief Executive Officer Dave Gallagher. The Lucie Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable organization. Their mission is to honor master photographers, discover and cultivate emerging talent, and promote the appreciation of photography worldwide.
Michael Reichmann (25 June 1944 – 18 May 2016)
Sadly, this was also a year of saying goodbye to one of our colleagues. We lost Michael of Luminous Landscape in May of 2016. While we knew him as the LULA founder in these last years, Michael accomplished so much more than most of us can even understand. It was important to CI that our entire team attend his memorial and give him the respect that he deserved. And afterward we had a glass of his beloved Cabernet and toasted him until late hours in the NYC evening.
