ALPA 12 SWA / Helvatar 43mm – Limited Kit
The ultimate wide-angle kit on classical roll-film. The Schneider ALPA Apo-Helvetar 5.6 / 43 mm corresponds to a focal length of 20/21 mm in 35mm and represents a highlight of the symmetrical lens construction. Thanks to the large lens image circle, together with the ALPA 12 SWA images with correction of converging lines (shift) with extremely low optical distortion become reality.
Only five kits with the last existing ALPA Apo-Helvetar 5.6/43 mm are available. Delivered with HPF ring, ALPA viewfinder and shift mask, ALPA roll-film back optionally for 6×7 or 6×9. Ready to shoot in a practical case. With certificate.
Mechanical Connectivity
ALPA converts the entire range of tripod and accessory connectors to three universal connection systems:
A) UniQ / C standard dovetail adapter for general photographic applications and conventional tripod use.
B) Universal Rail (aka Nato Rail) for common video connections with new compact adapters and innovative clamps.
C) Arri-Rosette for the connection of various accessories from the video world but also as a compact and rotatable / flexible mounting of ALPA Silex (also included).
Conversions of older ALPA 12 SWA bodies
The front lens lock may conflict with short barrel lenses and adapters. For this reason, now Alpa now offers a conversion by removing the release button and inserting a filler.
