Meet The Speakers
David Benoliel is a talented beauty and fashion Photographer originally from Paris and now based in the United States between New York, Miami and Los Angeles.
David is best known for creating powerful images through his dramatic use of lighting techniques and his advanced editing skills.
The result of David Benoliel’s work is a collection of nearly perfect images, which have garnered David publications in most fashion magazines, as well as an entire host of accolades.

Gregory Allen is a fashion and advertising photographer based between Mexico City and New York.
Originally from Seattle, Gregory studied Visual Arts and Psychology at Wesleyan University in Connecticut. He began his career working with Oliviero Toscani and the Benetton team in Italy, going on to win the National Geographic prize in 2004, while in 2010 he was named as one of the ‘Top Pros’ by Popular Photography magazine.
Gregory has been featured as the only photographer on the list of the most important figures in the fashion industry by Elle Latin America, and appears frequently on television as part of Mexico’s ‘Next Top Model’ and ‘Behind the Scenes’ on E!.
He has spent the last 15 years working all around the world for brands such as L’Oreal, Maybelline New York, Prada Mexico, Coppel, El Palacio de Hierro, Gerber, Nestlé, and magazines such as Glamour, InStyle, Travel+Leisure and Harper’s Bazaar.

Steve Richard is an acclaimed artist known for his powerful fine art nudes and beautiful illusions. With over 40 years in the world of photography Steve’s work has been published internationally in books and magazines, and he has been featured in numerous journals, blogs, websites and galleries around the world. Steve has a strong personal style and a unique creative vision. His methods for creating beautiful world-class images in camera (without any post-production manipulation) are the results of years of experimentation and hard work.

Josef Blazar is the owner of Blazing Editions, a fine art printing company based in Rhode Island. In his presentation, “The Art of Printmaking and Selling Your Prints,” Blazer will discuss the mission and background of Blazing Editions, emphasizing the importance of quality and customer service. He will also share information on various topics relating to printing images, from the benefits and drawbacks of paper and metal substrates to the importance of high resolution photos when printing from a camera. After an overview of important details in the process of printing and re-printing images, Blazer will provide valuable insight relating to art exhibitions, selling prints, interacting with galleries, and the hardships of online-focused selling. He will demonstrate how he sets up his equipment tethering to Capture 10 software, adjusting color balance, and shaping light to produce the desired output.

Gregory will take you through his techniques and thought process for both his commercial and fine art photography. He will discuss the tools he uses and the different approach he takes when shooting commercial vs. fine art.

For anyone considering a focus on fine art photography developing a unique personal style is not only on of the most important things to consider but also one of the most difficult challenges you can face. In this presentation Steve will discuss the migration from commercial photographer to viewing the world from the perspective of an artist. Steve will share his personally experiences navigating the world of fine art photography and will discuss of his approach to developing a unique vision and style.
